American space agency NASA has recently shared a stunning image of a beautiful open star cluster called NGC 1858.
Let’s get started!
The cluster is located in the constellation Dorado and is about 160,000 light years away from the earth.
01
It is part of the northwest large Magellanic cloud, a satellite galaxy of our milky way.
02
NGC 1858 is home to several large stars that can be seen easily, shining brightly at the center of the image.
03
The captured image was shared by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
04
It shows an electric sea of stars that is continuously glimmering against a backdrop of pinpricks of light.
05
The astronomer estimated that this star cluster is around 10 million years old.
06
Open star clusters are types of star clusters bound with loose gravitational force.
